It’s Release Day for the Kingdoms of Meria Conclusion

Her Voyager King is out today! Some fast facts about the series:

* Kipp Aldwine was inspired by Aragorn from Lord of the Rings. Re-watching after I’d purchased the 4D edition during lockdown, I began to wonder what a “returned hero” might look like in the world I’d been thinking of in my head for the past year or so.

* The third book in the series, Taken by the Elderman, was the one I’d looked forward to writing from the start knowing a “warrior priest” type figure, inspired by the Weeping Monk in Cursed on Neetflix.

* Yes, I am often inspired by movies or TV shows. I watch a lot of both, and the wheels are always turning!

* Will there be more books in Meria? I would love to write a spin-off, explore Queen Cettina’s fate and a see a few other characters make a re-appearance in the future. Time will tell. . .

* By now, if you’ve read the blurb for Her Voyager King, or even the comments above, you know the queen of Edingham is not Kipp’s love interest. However, in early plotting of the series, I had intended Kipp and Cettina to marry, thus ending the feud between their kingdoms. But plans changed!

You can download Her Voyager King on Amazon or read in Kindle Unlimited. As always, the release week price is reduced but will go up to $3.99 by next week.
